Say hello to the newly-released CameraBag 2024.0, which includes a powerful new feature long-requested by users: paintable masks that allow you to paint any effect or filter on select portions of an image!

The new Painted Mask adjustment tile is found in the Masks section of the Adjustments tab. As with other masks, simply place it to the left of any adjustment tile (or nested group of adjustment tiles), and those adjustments will then only apply to the portions of your image that you have painted with the mask. Set the mask's Preview Color to None to see the effect applied in real time while you paint!

When you select the Painted Mask tile in your tray, a brush tool becomes activated in your canvas. Paint in the mask with the left mouse button, erase by holding Shift while using the left mouse button, and adjust the brush radius by holding Command/Control while scrolling up and down.

Especially powerful is the ability to save masked adjustments as presets, so you can quickly call up common adjustments you might want to paint onto portions of an image and get painting right away without having to do any setup!

This update is FREE for all users who purchased CameraBag from nevercenter.com within the last year; simply download the new version from the CameraBag webpage (make sure to download whatever version—Photo or Pro—matches your license).
