Setting Up Email
To set up CameraBag to send email, you will need to have the same information on hand that you used to set up the email on your iPhone. You will only have to do this once. To edit this information, click on the "i" to go to the Settings dialogue. Then scroll down until you see "Email Options".
The fields are:
- From Address -- Your email address; where the email will be sent from.
- Username -- Your login information for your email. Typically, this is either your full email address or the part before the "@" symbol.
- Server -- Your outgoing mail server. This usually begins with "smtp." or "mail.".
- Port -- Try either 25 or 587.
- Use Password -- Turn this on if you need a password to log in to your email.
- Secure Authenticate -- Turn this on if your email requires secure authentication.
- Password -- Enter your email password here.
Getting the information:
1 - Open your iPhone's "Settings" App.
2 - Scroll down until you see "Mail, Contacts, Calendars". Click on it.
3 - In the Mail screen, select the email address you wish to use with CameraBag. (step not shown below)
4 - This will open a screen with the information for this email account. Scroll down. You need to get the email address/login, the password, and the SMTP server.
Once you have this information, you are ready to go back and enter it in to CameraBag. Happy emailing.
